How to Join
Joining David Garrick Lodge is a straightforward and welcoming process. We are always happy to hear from men who are curious about Freemasonry and would like to find out more.
Who can join?
Open to all men of good character
To join David Garrick Lodge, you must be a man of 18 years of age or over. We welcome men of all races, religions, cultures and backgrounds. There are no political or religious requirements.
The only requirements are that you are of good character, that you believe in a Supreme Being (of whatever faith or denomination), and that you are joining of your own free will — not because of any pressure from others.

Meet us
We will invite you to meet some of our members, either at a social event or informally. This gives you the chance to get to know us and ask any questions in a relaxed setting.
Submit a petition
If you decide you would like to join, you will submit a formal petition to the lodge. This is reviewed by the lodge members, who will vote on your admission.
Initiation ceremony
Once accepted, you will take part in an initiation ceremony — a meaningful and memorable occasion that marks the beginning of your Masonic journey.
Welcome to the lodge
You are now a Freemason and a member of David Garrick Lodge. You will be welcomed into our community and supported as you learn more about Freemasonry.
