David Garrick Lodge is part of the Province of Warwickshire, one of the provincial grand lodges that form the structure of Freemasonry in England and Wales under the United Grand Lodge of England.

Freemasonry in Warwickshire
The Province of Warwickshire encompasses all the Masonic lodges and chapters in the county of Warwickshire. It is led by the Provincial Grand Master, who is appointed by the United Grand Lodge of England.
The province provides support, guidance and resources to its constituent lodges, and organises provincial events and activities that bring Freemasons from across Warwickshire together.
The Province of Warwickshire has a strong tradition of charitable giving and community service, supporting causes across the county and beyond.

Provincial Lodge
What is a Provincial Lodge?
A Provincial Lodge is an administrative sub-division of a Freemasonry Grand Lodge. Under the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) jurisdiction, Provincial Grand Lodges are the regional authorities of the organisation all over England and Wales, as well as in the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. At this time, the number of Provincial Grand Lodges regulated by UGLE is around 48. The majority of these lodges have boundaries that mainly overlap with the ones from the historic England counties. A Provincial Grand Lodge is commandeered by a Provincial Grand Master.

What is the Province of Warwickshire?
Freemasonry in Warwickshire is organised under the Provincial Grand Lodge of Warwickshire (PGL), which oversees numerous lodges across the county, including Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, and Nuneaton. PGL is based at Yenton Assembly Rooms, 73 Gravelly Hill North, Erdington, Birmingham B23 6BJ.
Membership is open to men from all backgrounds who wish to develop character, engage in fellowship, and contribute positively to society. The organisation emphasises personal growth, ethical conduct, and community involvement.
Warwickshire Freemasons combine centuries-old traditions with modern community engagement. They offer opportunities for personal growth, social connection, and charitable impact, making them a significant presence in Warwickshire's civic and social landscape.
There are around 3,000 Masons in the Province of Warwickshire divided amongst some 122 lodges meeting at 21 venues across the county.
In 2028 the Province of Warwickshire will be celebrating its 300th anniversary. Fisher House was chosen for the tercentenary appeal, as its work supporting the families and loved ones of military personnel and veterans being treated at the Centre for Defence Medicine, based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, is both inspirational and in line with the commitment of the Province to the Armed Forces Covenant.
