A unique members' organisation
Freemasonry is one of the world's oldest and most widespread fraternal organisations. It has thrived for more than 300 years, bringing together men from all walks of life who share a commitment to integrity, friendship, respect and service.
It is not a religion, nor is it a political organisation. There are no religious or political discussions at lodge meetings. Freemasonry welcomes men of all faiths and none, and of all backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities.
David Garrick Lodge No. 4243 was consecrated in 1941 and has been a proud part of the Stratford-upon-Avon community ever since. We are part of the Province of Warwickshire, under the auspices of the United Grand Lodge of England.
Open to all men 18+
We welcome men of all races, religions, cultures and backgrounds. The only requirement is that you are a man of good character aged 18 or over.
Community and charity
Our members actively support local causes and give back to the community in Stratford-upon-Avon and across Warwickshire.
No political or religious ties
Freemasonry has no political or religious affiliations. We are united by shared values, not beliefs.
300 years of tradition
Our ceremonies and traditions connect us to the founding of the Grand Lodge in 1717 — a rich heritage we are proud to carry forward.
